Happy New Year and Welcome to 2017!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a happy and safe end of 2016 and are ready to greet this new year with as much hope and happiness as I am! I wanted to thank all of you for making the website what it is, for sticking with it, checking out my reviews, and listening to the podcasts.

I want to especially thank Tasha, Helga, Ally, and Decon for joining me on the fun and crazy adventure that the podcasts have been and will continue to be! They are the perfect co-hosts and I do hope I’ll get to rope a few of them into actually appearing here on the site to write reviews this coming year!

Roadside Reader Goals for 2017 are simple! Keep reading, keep reviewing. I also hope to make my vlogs a more regular feature, as well as being more active on twitter and facebook with regularly posted discussion questions and memes! Something else I plan on trying is the Beat the Backlist challenge hosted by NovelKnight. It sounds like loads of fun and a good way to finally read all of the books I’ve been wanting to but never having time to since I’m always so focused on filling review requests. This year, I’m hoping to read at least 24 books from my personal stash, all published before 2017! This list is in addition to my school list so should be a piece of cake, I say, lying to myself.
