Part of a new series I’m doing starting on facebook, Roadside Reader Asks…
How often do you judge a book by its cover? How often have your initial impressions been proven right, or wrong?
For me, I’m really trying to learn not to judge a book by its cover. There have been a few books I’ve recently read where I might not be attracted to the cover, but the synopsis is so good, I need to read it. Once I do, I’m so pleasantly surprised to find such a jewel of a book, I get sad about the cover.
Is it just me that judges so harshly since I have done graphic design before?
Is having a great cover as important with ebooks as they are with physical books in a store or library?
